Adhesive Coatings

For any product requiring additional adhesive coating or general coating, we are equipped to provide a perfectly engineered solution. Our technicians are experienced in resolving unique issues involved in coating applications for a variety of materials.

Coatings may be required in certain cases for use as a primer, to increase surface tension, as well as be heat reactivateable or pressure sensitive.

Our extensive inventory of specialized equipment handles the gamut of materials, including acrylic, acetate, latex, neoprene, silicone, urethane and more. Our capabilities extend to processing many classes of coatings, including hot melts, water-based, thermoplastic, water-repellent and fire retardant, among others.

Our facility employs both hot air drying and room temperature curing for adhesive processes, with cure temperatures up to 350°F, widths up to 120 inches and roll weights up to 2,000 lbs. with adhesive coating from less than one mil to 60 mils.

Laminating

Custom laminating of materials and rolled goods requires unique equipment and process engineering techniques that are not found in other applications. Since the product characteristics required can cover a broad range, the lamination process must be carefully matched to the desired result.

At CTI, we employ a variety of equipment to achieve the goals of our clients. Depending on the material and objective, we use slot die, roll coater, gravure coating, hot roll, belt lamination spray coating, and others.

Contract work may include toll laminations, large format and wide web toll laminations, all of which have been utilized in many industries, such as automotive, construction and roofing materials, fiberglass and insulation.

Our facilities can handle a maximum roll weight of 2,000 lbs., maximum width of 120 inches on both medium and long runs.

Slitting and Die Cutting

Our full-service slitting and die cutting operation utilizes several flat-bed die cutters, which allow us to offer cutting from sheet or rolled form to our clients. Our facilities are uniquely engineered to allow total customization for every project.

We can provide custom sheeting and can convert most materials, including cardboard, vinyl, paper, non-woven, foam and cloth to custom specifications. These services are an important component in many industries, including automotive, office furniture/partitions and construction materials.

Our technical support is superior, offering reliable solutions to our clients’ process-engineering issues.

We are accredited by many industry standards boards, including the ASME-American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASTM-American Society for Testing and Materials and ISO-International Organization for Standardization.

Innovative technology and creative solutions are our tools of choice and we use them extensively to meet the high standards of our clients.
